I-Chem Water Based Sealer High Gloss (colour base)

I-Chem High Gloss (Natural Look) sealer is a waterborne, high performance coating system developed to provide exceptional protection and colour enhancement of decorative concrete and masonry surfaces.

High Gloss WB sealer is especially formulated for decorative concrete and other porous inorganic and mineralized surfaces such as concrete, and natural and synthetic masonry.

Used as a clear, I-Chem High Gloss will provide a glossy finish, but will not enhance the colour, or give you a "wet Look". It is also used as the base for coloured water based sealer.

One WB tinter is added per drum, to turn it into a full coloured sealer.

Diluting is not required. Water based sealer should always be applied lightly.

2 thin coats are usually required, but on some surfaces, one coat could be sufficient. The only way to judge this is by looking at it and seeing if you are happy with the way it looks. The more
coats of sealer that are applied, the glossier it will become.

Ideally the finished job should not see any rain for at least 24 hours.

The surface can be damp when sealing, but not wet. There should be no free water (puddles) on the surface. Generally if you can see any glare, it is probably too wet, wait a little longer.

In its natural state, water based sealers appears milky white. Because of this, when the tinter is mixed into the sealer and applied, it may look considerably pale. This is normal and the true
colour of the sealer will appear as it dries.

For re-sealing, pressure wash the old coat to clean, wait for it to dry, and apply a new coat over the top.

Up to 80m2 per 15lt drum in colour.

From 80-120m2 if used as a clear (depending on the type and porosity of the surface)

• Up to 27m2 per 5lt drum in colour.
• Up to 27-40m2 per 5lt if used as a clear.
• Please note this coverage is based off one coat, two coats are recommended.
• These coverage rates are approximate.
• Usually the second coat will go further than the first.
